Help me give my students the opportunity to use our new circuit machine for classroom projects. I had the funds to purchase the machine, but not the additional accessories to go with it.
I am a Life Skills Support teacher at the high school level. My students range in age from 14-21 years old. They have many different skill levels. I have some students that are participating in programs outside of my classroom, but others that are with me full-time.
My goal is to introduce a new circuit machine for classroom projects.
Many of my students have issues with fine motor skills and this will be helpful. They will be proud of the final projects that they make with help from our Circuit and tools.
My Project
My Life Skills Support classroom has an annual craft sale. We work very hard to make items that are neatly done and liked by others. The sale gives my students the chance to interact with both adults and peers from outside of our classroom and building. Several people had suggested a circuit for the class. I was able to purchase the machine but needed more funds for the additional supplies. We will be learning how to use our new classroom circuit machine together.
This Cricut machine will allow students who struggle with cutting and handwriting to participate successfully with their peers.
The manual and tools will help us get started sooner and with more success. I can't wait to see the reaction on their faces when they use it. The exposure to this type of technology will be new for all of us.
