Help me give my students various crafting materials that support them in developing their artistic creativity using craft supply centers and designing crafting kits.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My classroom is geared to upholding a family-oriented environment in which students have fun, develop positive social skills, and take academic risks without feeling discouraged. These materials aid my students academically and verbally.
Someone once said, "It's not where you're from that matters, it's how hard you're willing to work to achieve your dreams." Surrounded by abandoned houses in our inner city school, we receive an education, family-oriented classrooms, and guidance.
Our students receive free breakfast, lunch, and snacks to ensure they are eating healthy, balanced meals. Although faced with some barriers at such a young age, they are simply amazing.
My Project
Students in pre-K need both academic support as well as creative play. It is my goal to use your wonderful donations in a variety of crafting ways to engage students. These arts and crafts materials will make a difference in our classroom by exploring different medias and the artist. We will be able to connect art activities and curriculum themes as an additional learning center. They can express themselves independently or with a peer to build language development.
Pre-K is a learning environment that allows for self-exploration and working with peers in creative ways.
Your donations will support this goal in our classroom. I want to provide opportunities for self-expression through their works. These materials will be in the arts and crafts centers and will be utilized during projects and independent choice time. Students will develop fine motor skills daily.
