My Project

The Craft Club for high schoolers represents an innovative initiative designed to prioritize and enhance the mental well-being of participating students. By introducing them to the art of crocheting, the project seeks to provide a creative outlet that not only fosters skill development but also serves as a therapeutic activity for stress relief. Through regular club sessions, students will have the opportunity to explore various crochet techniques, work on diverse projects, and engage in a supportive environment that promotes relaxation. The initiative aims to create a sense of accomplishment, community, and emotional well-being among teens, contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

In addition to promoting mental health, the Craft Club aims to develop valuable life skills among participating students.

Learning the art of crocheting not only enhances their crafting abilities but also encourages patience, focus, and attention to detail. The club's inclusivity and collaborative atmosphere foster a supportive community where students can share their creative ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate each other's achievements. As the project unfolds, the Craft Club aspires to not only improve the mental health of high schoolers but also leave a lasting impact on their personal development, building a foundation for resilience, creativity, and interpersonal skills. We are in need of crochet kits and patterns.
