My Students

“The most important attribute that education can bring to anyone is the ability to think critically. In an era where information and knowledge is universally available, it is the power to comprehend, assess and analyse which makes the difference – those are the critical thinking skills.”

Charles Clarke, former UK Secretary of State for Education

My students are highly motivated and eager to learn. As their teacher, I am constantly striving to provide a well rounded education for each of my students. My students are inquisitive and seeking new opportunities to learn. Our school focuses on STEM education and my students thrive on using technology to enhance their learning.

My Project

Being able to think critically and solve problems is a key ingredient to my students education. These skills are necessary in all areas of learning. By providing hands-on opportunities to learn and problem solve, students are able to develop a deeper understanding of these concepts. I plan to use Botley the Coding Robot as a tool to help students develop these skills.

Using Botley the Coding Robot in our classroom will give my students the challenge they need.

My students will work with a partner to help Botley work its way through mazes, follow if/then commands, and avoid running into objects. Students will be developing these important critical thinking and problem solving skills in a fun learning environment.
