My Students

We are a school located outside of Tampa, Florida with a high poverty rate. My students are eclectic and artistic. They are teens full of ambition and emotions. I serve about 80 ninth to twelfth graders in Health with an arts inclusion. I have students with active or veteran military family members.

I truly have wonderful students.

This course they are taking is an elective; they chose this course and I want them to receive the best skills for their future. I want to give them everything they had hoped from this course.

My Project

My students will be participating in a certification class as an opportunity to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. I want to expose them to equipment and experiences they otherwise wouldn't have.

Safety is my number 1 priority when teaching CPR/First Aid.

I am asking for CPR Defibrillator Trainer (2), CPR Manikin Lung Bags, Disposable Exam Gloves, and CPR training face shields.

With donations from you we will be able to refill our CPR stock of lung bags and gloves. We will be able to add AED training devices to our CPR Certification. We currently have 9 manikins but only 6 AED training devices.
