This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
CPR programs for schools allow nurse educators to deliver hands-on training to students. Learning CPR is a skill that all students should be taught so they are prepared for an emergency situation.
With a CPR Manikin, students will be able to practice life saving skills and give feedback while they are learning.
We have an amazing program to teach, however, we do not have the necessary training aids to have our students perform hands on practice.
I feel it is even more important for my students to not only have the knowledge, but the ability to practice CPR. The best way to save a life if the situation ever arises, is to have the ability and confidence to help someone.
