My Students

It’s a new school year, which means a new class full of excited students ready to learn! The class has a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. The diverse needs makes our classroom unique. Each student is welcome to be themselves and express who they are through their traditions.

I have a beautiful variety of abilities in my class this year.

Our school is in a community that is growing at a rapid pace. It's a diverse community with each student bringing their unique culture to our loving classroom. It’s going to be a great year!!

My Project

Developing a love for reading early on in life is the key to so many doors children will come to later on in life. Kindergartners are just beginning to enjoy books independently. They are starting to see that they hold the ability to open a book and discover all it's wonders. As adults we have our favorite place to read, such as a comfy chair or couch. I would like to create that place for the children in my class. Our reading corner is on its way to becoming a cozy, warm space for the children to become lifelong readers. Purchasing multiple comfy chairs would begin to bring this space to life.
