My Students

I teach at a title one school in which 100% of students receive free lunch and breakfast. Most of my students will only get the extra practice they need inside the walls of my classroom. They enjoy learning through the use of technology as they manipulate shapes, objects, and words to demonstrate understanding.

My students need hands on learning experiences to enhance lessons taught.

When learning is made fun for my students, they reach a higher level of thinking and are more successful.

My Project

The floor lamp and bean bag seats will allow students to comfortably enjoy a good book in the reading center of my classroom. The environment provided for students to read is important to foster a love of reading. Being comfortable while enjoying a good book will allow my students to see that reading for pleasure is possible!

The floor lamp and bean bag seats will create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere in which students will enhance their love of reading.

My students are not always given the opportunity at home to get cozy with a good book and love reading.
