My Students

I am teaching 4 and 5 year old pre kindergarten students in the small rural community of Clinton, WI. My students are eager to come come to school each day to learn. I have 2 classrooms of students who come to school ready to explore and play.

In our classroom we spend much of our time building community on the floor.

We come together for circle time, stories, songs, and group work time. Students are learning through exploration, hands on activities and PLAY!

My Project

My preschool students are experiencing school for the first time. They need a calm and welcoming space with the new carpet will invite them to our circle time. With a new calming rug we will not only have an inviting space but also have the opportunity to practice our letters.

The multiple seating options will give students their own personal space and also allow them to wiggle without disturbing those around them.

The wobble cushions and Bilibo seats are great for active students. Creating this new circle time space will make our classroom feel a little more like home and help to build their stamina for learning.
