My Students

I teach in an elementary school that is part of a large school district. My students are in third grade. They love to read, create science experiments, solve challenging math problems, get creative on a computer, and stay safe!

These students are adaptive and open to learning online and in-person.

Students are provided with many opportunities to grow in reading, writing, math, science, and technology! I want to make materials available for all subjects to support all students.

My 26 third graders are diverse in their learning needs. There is a wide range of students well below grade level. Our school just opened this year with demographics that are still being created. We support over 900 students in our K-6 school.

My Project

The new books will help diversify the nonfiction section of my library! So many kids love nonfiction and I cannot wait to share these new books with them.

The headphones will allow students to work on computer projects without worrying about the pads falling out or noise from others!

They will use these in-person and online.

Lastly, the lap desks will allow students to work anywhere in the classroom! I want them to advocate for themselves by finding a quite spot to work and moving their bodies! They will love using these lap desks.
