Help me give my students alternative cozy nooks in the classroom for reading!

Over 90% of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch, and we are considered a Title I school. Students don't always have access to resources that would extend their learning. I want to do all I can to help my students achieve their highest potential. My students are truly amazing, and they love to learn. They are excited about school and their contagious enthusiasm for learning drives me to do more!
Students don't always have access to resources, and I want to help bridge that gap.
I want to inspire and motivate my students to be all that they can be! When they graduate from my school, I want them ready to venture out into the world and make their dreams come true.
I am so excited to provide a book club at my school this year and the interest and participation are exploding! Most of my students prefer to sit on a hard floor rather than their desks when alternative seating is not available. A comfy spot is just what they are looking for during book club!
I’m on a mission to provide alternative seating that encourages students to get lost in the books they are reading.
They would love a large shag rug for this purpose. These rugs are cozy, soft and provide the perfect space for students to immerse themselves in new stories and adventures. It encourages quiet time and space to enjoy independent reading and storytelling with other students. I want them to truly absorb themselves in stories and be able to partner up and talk about the books in great detail. Students will be developing confidence in their reading skills and having a space that feels familiar and comfortable can really help with literacy skill-building. Thank you so much for considering my project!
