My Students

My students have worked so hard this year to become the students they are today! We are continuing to work hard to become readers and writers.

My kindergartners love hands-on activities!

When given objects in their hands they learn to the best of the ability! Not only that, but they work together and help each other. I want to be able to build on this and show my kids that school is awesome and not how they have seen it.

My Project

My students are always on the go! What five year old isn't? I would like for my kiddos to have comfortable seating to match their learning style.

Students would be able to learn from anywhere in the classroom.

This is why I am asking for bean bag chairs and cozy collapsible chairs. This way students can take a book or their iPad and find a place to comfortably focus while learning! That might be under a table or laying on the carpet. Wherever it is, they will be more comfortable and more willing to stay in one spot and focus!

Bringing flexible seating into this classroom will also give students a feeling of community. It will also give them responsibility to take care of objects they want to use and work together.
