My Students

My students are eager little learners who have a variety of special needs. They have young curious minds. They love to explore the world around them and make new discoveries.

We work to grow the whole child, focusing on social and emotional skills as well as academics.

We focus on student abilities and strengths. My goal is to provide each child with the tools needed to meet his/her potential. I am excited to see my students grow and learn this year!

My Project

Everyday my students work and play hard in our Pre-K classroom. By afternoon they need to rest and recharge their small bodies. My students are very young three-year-olds and rest is a crucial to their brain development. Unfortunately, we do not have carpet in our classroom. Because our floors are tile, it make resting cold and uncomfortable. Rest cots will help to ensure every student gets much needed rest at school so they can reach their full potential. Our very young learners need a safe and cozy place to rest their heads after working hard all morning. A well rested child is a child that is ready to learn!
