My Project

I am a dedicated fifth-grade teacher who believes that a welcoming, comfortable classroom environment is essential for student success. One of the most cherished areas in my classroom is our library corner—a space where my scholars can relax, read, and complete their work in a calm and inviting setting.

Unfortunately, the cushions I previously had in this space have become worn out and broken due to daily use.

I have replaced them over time with my own funds, but as they continue to wear down, I am unable to keep up with the cost of constantly replacing them. Without these cushions, scholars no longer have a soft and cozy place to sit, which makes it harder for them to fully enjoy independent reading, collaborative learning, and quiet work time.

Providing new cushions would help restore this essential space in my classroom, ensuring that my scholars have a comfortable area to focus, think, and learn. Many of my scholars thrive when given flexible seating options, and having this small but meaningful addition will make a significant difference in their daily learning experience.
