This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dramatic play is important to a child's development and learning. When a child engages in the dramatic play area they deepen their understanding of the word and they develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Having child-sized furniture that looks familiar to the furniture in the child's home helps comfort them and allows them to share common experiences.

Now more than ever emotional support is very important in the Pre-K classroom.

Having a living room set provides a cozy area where children can socialize and develop their vocabulary, read, calm and comfort themselves, and even brainstorm problem resolution in a comfortable positive atmosphere.
