Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach reading and language arts to 40 energetic 3rd graders each day. My students are curious, eager, and collaborative. Our curriculum includes character lessons as well, so my friends are working to become more ethical citizens daily.
Over half of my students are English Language Learners, and have endured great journeys to come to the United States for education and opportunity.
I want to give these friends, as well as the rest of my students, the most incredible experience possible when they step into my classroom in the mornings.
My Project
These products will help my students stay on task, as it will allow them to wiggle and get out energy that could otherwise be distracting to them. The books included in this project will also be a huge help in our classroom, as my students are always asking for more of these series! I love to hear them requesting books, so I would be thrilled to be able to give these to my students! All of these supplies are things we are needing in our room right now, and would be a huge help to receive. Thank you in advance for your support!!
