My Students

The students in my classroom come from a small, tight-knit community that puts a high value on education at all levels! We have a supportive community and supportive families that help their students succeed. They want to their children to have a LOVE of reading!

My students have a Never-Give-Up kind of attitude!

The students in my classroom are eager to learn and are always pushing themselves to the next level. They are greatly motivated to not just complete activities but to LEARN!

My Project

I want my students to not just read books in my room because it is a requirement but because they WANT to! I am asking for light filters and lamps to create a cozy environment. I am also asking for bags for the students to place their books in and move around the room to the coziest spot of them. Lastly, I'd like a bean bag to replicate reading at home.

I am trying to create lifelong readers and I think a comfortable classroom environment can help students feel more at home and able to engage with their just-right books.
