Cozy classroom for Collaboration and Learning
My students need a classroom rug and seats for the library.
I teach at a low-income/high poverty school. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep learning a simple and fun experience for all my students.
My students are active and have an eagerness to learn.
They thrive on hands-on learning experiences. All of my students receive a free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. My students come into school with little to no prior academic knowledge. Since First Grade is an important beginning to their future learning, we work hard to give them a solid foundation to a bright future.
My first graders need a special place to sit when we have our class meetings and do whole group lessons on the floor. The Flex Space carpet will provide each student with their own space, which will allow for more focused and engaged learners. The Flex Space seats will begin to allow my students to have a variety of places to sit around the classroom while they read.
My first graders attend a Title I school where most of our population is low income.
These items will allow my students to have a colorful classroom that promotes reading and a love of learning.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
