Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach an energetic group of twenty-six third grade students at an elementary school in the Bronx. We are a Title I school with a variety of needs in our classroom.
My students love to learn and are motivated to become better every day!
We are excited to come to school and are eager to learn new things. We are creative, love math and science, and are extremely motivated to succeed.
My students deserve the best in order to help them succeed in third grade!
My Project
In third grade, we spend a lot of time learning on our classroom rug. The rug is a central part of our classroom and is where we read stories, learn math and play games. We are in need of a cozy classroom rug to help us continue learning in comfort.
This new classroom rug with 30 boxes will allow my students to have their own space, focus and participate in class discussions!
Our current classroom rug does not fit our entire class so this rug will be extremely exciting because it will give all of us a chance to feel part of our classroom community. Please help us continue learning and growing our brains in third grade with a donation to our class!
