Cozy Chair Balls: Alternative Seating in the Classroom

My Project

Our sixth grade reading classroom is buzzing with adventures. Students are relaxing in some pretty creative ways. The chair balls will be perfect in small group settings . Students will be out of the traditional seating of desks and chairs. Our reading class conducts small group activities 3-4 times a week. Working together in groups helps readers share their thinking and encourages confidence. Students who are more reluctant to share their thinking from traditional class settings will be more relaxed and comfortable. Our readers love to help one another and encourage each other to grow in reading.
