My Students

My kindergartners are full of excitement, creativity, and curiosity. Our school is a school that celebrates inclusion. Based on my students interests, needs, and goals, my kindergartners learn a variety of skills to help prepare them for their educational career.

In this class, we agree that we always want to feel happy, safe, and excited.

That sense of community helps me immerse my learners into the world of literacy, math, science, social studies, social emotional learning, and much more! In the midst of all of our academic learning, we love to play outside, build new things, and dance to some GoNoodle.

My Project

The classroom carpet is essential in a kindergarten classroom. It is a common meeting area for all students and the teacher. New concepts, skills, and ideas are all introduced and practiced on the classroom carpet. Also, we gather to sing songs, listen to stories, and participate in guided dances. This is where a lot of our listening and learning takes place.

The students in my classroom will have the opportunity to have a place where they can gather and sit comfortably while learning together.

Carpet time is an exciting time for students throughout the the day. By having a classroom carpet, this will help foster learning, curiosity, and creativity among all my students.
