I have a class of twenty two hard-working, energetic learners. They have an eagerness to quench their thirst for knowledge, and I want to provide them all the opportunities they deserve. Many of my students come from a high poverty background, and as their teacher, I want to provide them a chance to make a better future. My students love to learn with a hands-on approach. I want to provide them with interactive learning tools to help give them a brighter future.
My students are hard-working students.
They have a lot of energy and are faced with the challenges of modern education. The workload presented to them is more rigorous than ever, and they are required to do a lot of sitting. They deserve all opportunities to help them be successful in school.
My Project
My students will benefit from light softening filters in the classroom. The florescent lights in the classroom are harsh and the filters will create a calming and pleasant learning environment by reducing the flicker and glare of fluorescent lights. Having this calming light in the classroom will create a more inviting, soothing learning environment for my students.
This will allow my students to be more successful.
My students will also benefit from having flexible seating choices within the classroom. The hard plastic classroom chairs are not conducive to promoting student learning. They are uncomfortable and can distract children from focusing on their work.
