Covid Won't Stop STEM Learning

My Students

STOP! My students are special for many reasons!

First, they are all unique.

My classroom is made up of kids from a diverse population. Several students have learning disabilities while others do not. I always try to create a collaborative and caring environment for all students.

Second, the neighborhood is considered an urban ring; it is located next to Rhode Island's largest city. Many of the children live in poverty or close to it. Coming to school every day provides them the stability and structure they may not be receiving at home.

Last, all students need a safe place to learn and resources to help make their learning easier or more interesting. My school has many students whose income level is low; however, we strive to have many of the same benefits and perks that other schools have in more affluent neighborhoods.

My Project

Having access to worksheets and online tools on Teachers Pay Teachers would help my students learn the different aspects of physical science. These resources would be used primarily in school, but with the new norm of COVID, learning may have to transition back to virtual learning.

It would be wonderful to have the flexibility and the ability to access thousands of teacher made learning materials on Teachers Pay Teachers.

These worksheets or online tools, would help my students learn the different aspects of physical science.

While everyone's learning style is different, it has been observed that visual learning helps with memory and retaining information.
