My Students

I teach amazing middle schoolers that are coming into their own. My students are eager to explore their creativity and grow as artists. They come from many backgrounds but all work hard to succeed. They learn to persevere and grow.

My Project

When school went online in the spring it was clear my students did not have equal access to art supplies. All art students need to have access to colored supplies to ensure the highest level of learning. This year students aren’t allowed to share materials as they have in the past. With this restriction and the possibility of learning from home again, I want to supply each student with a class kit of basic materials. Approximately 150 students rotate through art each quarter.
