My Project

I am the school counselor at a Title I school, where 100% of our students receive free lunch. Since Covid-19, students have really been struggling with their interpersonal skills. These past two years of the pandemic have not allowed students to interact and socialize as much as they wished. However, they learned a lot about technology. We used our class laptop for absolutely everything (Zoom, Schoology, learning packets, you name it).

We are in need of a new laptop because our current one crashed post-COVID.

As the school counselor and a teacher, I am focusing on academics of course; however, my students' mental and social-emotional well-being is just as important right now. As a class, we will use our new laptop to complete small group lessons and individual counseling sessions as well. Thanks for your consideration!
