My students are ready to start the 2020 school year! They were able to get a preview of their classroom during our meet the teacher day, but their smiles slowly faded when they learned they wouldn't be in the classroom right away. On our first day of remote teaching I was BLOWN AWAY at how patient, respectful, and curious my students were. Their hands shot up at every question I asked and I could tell they were eager to learn.
My students deserve a safe, welcoming, and warm environment.
When they come back to the classroom I want it to be everything they have been waiting for. Most of all, I want to relieve my students and parents of all the stress COVID19 has caused. Although I know that is nearly impossible I have to at least try!
My Project
The stress of COVID19 is getting in the way of students properly learning in the classroom. I want parents to feel safe and comfortable sending their children to school. These materials will help limit movement in the classroom to cubbies and to backpacks. Our hooks and shower caddies will help with mask breaks throughout the day and keep supplies in one place. Our chair backs will be the home to folders and Ipads that the students will access throughout the day. These materials will give peace of mind to parents, students, and their teacher.
