My Students

My students are an amazing group of middle schoolers from all walks of life. They are super eager learners, and love to explore and create. They have created a sense of family within the classroom, and are missing that interaction terribly. They have approached this new way of learning with a fierce determination. I want to see them be successful in this new reality, but also excited to return, when we finally can.

My Project

My classroom is an area where students can work with their hands, to create, build, compete, and share. My students are constantly involved in hands-on learning projects, that involve coloring, cutting, gluing, and drawing. The material on my list will allow me to continue to have an environment that is conducive to this type of learning and exploration. With all of my students currently unable to leave their homes due to COVID-19, I want to make sure that their time in my classroom next year, will be something they can look forward to. With these new supplies, I can make sure they enjoy their year and time within my class, and can begin to move on from the situations they are currently facing.
