Help me give my students basic school supplies; journals, pencils and colored pencils, to ensure they have the resources they need to be successful while learning at home.
My 3rd graders are a dynamic group of creative & curious children. They are constantly challenging themselves and each other while strengthening their sense the world around them. They are full of energy and love learning new concepts. My students tackle new challenges with growth mindsets and positive attitudes.
I am constantly amazed by their daily discoveries and personal growth.
My students celebrate and cheer for one another, making this classroom really feel more like a family and a community than just a class.
My Project
Our governor just announced that my students will not be returning to school for the remainder of the school year. Six weeks ago, my students scrambled and frantically packed their backpacks full of whatever materials they thought they were going to need for two weeks.
That two weeks away, has now turned into the remainder of the school year and my students do not have adequate supplies they need to complete remote learning.
My students will use these materials, especially the pencils and journals to create and write in their Daily Pandemic Journal and complete other necessary school assignments at home.
