This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an amazing, vibrant collection of enthusiastic artists in a Title I, inner-city, coastal Connecticut community where 100% of our students receive free lunch and there never seems to be an end to other urgent needs.

We welcome many immigrants and transient families to our community and engage students as they navigate every kind of emotional and social challenge that you can imagine.

Economic need is high, but creative passion is even higher! Please help our creative and talented students touch the wonderful materials they need to thrive and explore.

My Project

Our dear students are at home working during this pandemic and access to basic supplies is seriously limited. Even if they had a full set of crayons in the house at the beginning of this isolation, they will need reinforcements for sure. This gift will allow me to send home a personalized set of crayons for each of our elementary students. They can be handed out during pick-up of learning packets at our front office.

Inexpensive, versatile, therapeutic, safe and no-mess: crayons still rule for universal art supplies.
