I work in a Title I school district, which means that the majority of my students come from poor economic backgrounds. I believe school should be their escape. It should be fun and a place where they learn that anything is possible.
It is my goal to expose my students to the generosity of the world.
I have had smaller projects funded through this site. My students were in awe knowing that complete strangers cared about them and their success. My hope is that they will pay your generosity forward in the future.
My Project
We love math in our classroom! With so much to accomplish, I need the supplies necessary to teach basic math skills quickly. I need a hundreds chart to help my children with skip counting. I need a new calendar to help students keep track of our time in school. Finally, I need more ipad cords so my students can utilize the ipads we have. The chargers we have no longer work and ipad usage it critical to our math success. We use them to access differentiated math instruction. Acquiring these basic math supplies will make a huge difference in my classroom.
