My students need jumbo magnetic numbers, place value, and pattern blocks. They need an addition game, number boards, a counting game, and Unifix cubes too.
Counting to 100, addition, subtraction, place value, numbers...and the list goes on. These are just some of the things my students need to understand before moving on to first grade!
My full day kindergarten students are full of energy and always keep me on my toes!
They love to learn and are so excited when they master a new concept. We are so lucky to be a part of an amazing school. Our school family works so hard, is supportive, and caring. We all put forth our best effort to help each and every student succeed!
My Project
The materials I am asking for will help my students master some of the common core standards. Our goal, of course, is for every student to master every one of the standards, so he/she is ready for first grade. These games, activities, and materials will become a part of our math work stations or will be used in our small groups to work on various math skills. They will learn to count, add, identify numbers, make number sentences, and more!
My students will be thrilled to have these new, hands-on materials to help them learn and practice.
Help me, help my students be more than prepared for first grade. Best of all, I will be able to use these materials for many years to come!
