Help me give my students ETA hand2mind Mini Wood Rekenrek, stability Balance Disc 13" Diameter Wobble Cushion for flexibility in our seating and leapfrog cash registrars.
As a teacher in a low-income district, my main focus for my students is to give them the best learning environment possible. Many of the students in our school get free lunch and receive free school supplies from the local community. I want my students to come to a classroom that fosters learning. We have some of the brightest children in our school system, and I just want to give them the best education possible no matter their background. Every child deserves the best and every child is able to learn!
My Project
It is never too early to learn about financial literacy! My students are young kindergarten students that are beginning to grasp early math concepts such as more versus less, counting, addition, and number recognition. These are the basic skills they need to master in order to expand their knowledge in financial literacy.
The materials in this project will enhance my students’ math skills through highly engaging and interactive activities.
The cash registers will allow my students to learn about money. This will allow them to see how to add money and subtract money. Then the Mini Wood Rekenrek will help students to count. This will also allow students to learn how to add and subtract. Finally the wobble cushions will help with the students concentrating while learning how to count.
While learning these math concepts, I will be able to teach my students about saving and spending, how money is used to make purchases, and making good choices based on needs and wants.
Thank you for your help and contribution to ensure my students a bright financial future!
