My students need hands-on addition materials like Jumbo Magnetic Multiplication Arrays, a Hands-On Addition Regrouping Kit, and a Giant Magnetic Graph and Array Chart that focus on regrouping to better understand the concept.

My Students
My students are 4th graders that have special needs. They have a hard time understanding math concepts when using workbooks. They enjoy hands-on materials where they get a better grasp of the concepts being taught.
They are enthusiastic about coming to class every day.
When it comes to remembering and explaining new concepts, they tend to get very frustrated and then give up. They love getting involved with hands-on activities where they can see how addition, multiplication, and all math concepts work.
My Project
I am asking for a couple of math activities. They include hands-on addition regrouping kit, graph & array chart, and a magnetic multiplication array chart to be used on the whiteboard. These manipulatives will help students learn addition with regrouping and multiplication facts. The students will be guided in the process of adding and multiplying numbers by physically manipulating the pieces on the board to show how sometimes we need to regroup numbers to come up with the right answer. These students get excited when they come into class and realize they will be using manipulatives and not worksheets.
My goal is for students who learn differently than others to receive the same education where they will be able to reach their highest potential.
The activities include addition with regrouping, making arrays for multiplication, and a daily math journal.
