Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a very diverse group of little learners. We come from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Each comes from a very different starting point and learns in very different ways. We try, we fail, we get back up and try again, and we all CAN and DO learn!
We love to work hard and play hard.
We work together to create a classroom full of love and respect and a never quit attitude. Each of these kiddos is amazing and can do great things!
My Project
Your generous donation will help my kindergarten students build their fine motor development as they manipulate, count and build with classic Legos.
The possibilities are endless exploring through play with a love of Legos.
Students can count, build, explore, and more. My students will use these Legos daily as they work on creative activities in Reading, Math, and STEAM.
Many of my students are emergent writers just learning how to hold and use writing utensils. Legos are a fun, engaging way to build the muscles in their little hands that will ensure writing fluency in the future. Every donated brick will get us one step closer to being the next writer and inventor!
