The students I teach are some of the most awesome students you will ever meet. My students range from lower level math students to Accelerated students who are taking Math 2 in 8th Grade. They mostly come from lower income single parent homes, but continue be hard-working students regardless of their circumstances. Our job is to provide resources that help them learn the best way they can learn and continue to push them to be the best they can each day.
Excellence is the only option at our school.
We focus on this motto every day to teach students that we have to rise above and focus on what we must do to be successful. They deserve routines that promote the best learning environment possible for students. My students love collaboration and using technology to enhance their learning. They love when games are created for review. They appreciate when teachers give them the extra support to show them we are there for them and will provide everything we can for them.
My Project
I love when my students have routines that help keep our classroom running smoothly. I am always looking for ways to make procedures to be quick. One of these routines is taking up our graphing calculators up at the end of the day and counting them. I have had storage that hang on the wall and they constantly fall down.
Students will be able to quickly place their calculators in the storage case and see if any are missing so we don't have to count them .
The case is numbered so we can quickly see which ones are missing.
