My students need guitar method books, guitar picks, and instrument reeds. On top of band, jazz band, and orchestra, we will be adding a beginner guitar course for the first time this coming school year.
A majority of students at our school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. We are also a Title I school. We have a strong migrant community in our area. Purchasing materials for music classes can be difficult for our students.
Our students have shown a great talent for music, and they deserve to have the equipment necessary to nurture that talent.
Our school has participated in our local ratings festival, marching competitions, and jazz clinics, and we are a visible presence on our campus at football games, basketball games, volleyball games, and rallies.
Our instrumental music program is expanding to include a beginner guitar course. We need guitar method books, guitar picks, and instrument reeds. These materials will allow our school to train a new group of instrumental musicians.
We are excited to start our guitar program and to continue the success of our band classes with these materials.
The method books and picks will help make sure we can start the guitar class quickly and efficiently. The reeds will help the band classes continue their successes.
Our programs have been able to increase musicianship skills and other skills like discipline, personal responsibility, and cooperative teamwork. Thank you for taking time to consider helping us to continue that musical and personal growth!
