Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work at a Title I school where many of the students are economically disadvantaged. They all experienced much in their young lives, yet are so hardworking and eager to learn.
I will be teaching math to two classes in third grade this year, and one of my classes receives their reading/writing instruction in Spanish.
I want my students to have the tools that they need to be successful.
I want to excite my students about learning and improve their math skills. I like to provide my students with experiences and lessons to encourage their success. It is important that my students are engaged in fun, exciting, and challenging activities.
My Project
I am requesting space pencils, erasers, notepads, and stickers to enhance our new school-wide theme of Reaching for the Stars.
Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to CHANGE THE WORLD, Harriet Tubman.
Students will be able to have their picture taken in front of the planets starry sky background using photo booth props when they do well on an assignment or reach a set goal. The space stickers will highlight pages in student journals and the erasers will be added to our prize box. Thank you for helping my cougars reach their goals and become world changers!
