This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I run a class that meets with every student in the school. That's 430 students a week and we share all the materials (some just for lower grades and some just for upper grades). They get used very quickly.

This project is to replace items that we use often, for motivation, and to continue our social emotional learning through mindfulness.

We use the bubble lamps to practice breathing and calming our nervous systems. The pencils and stickers are for motivation. The books and cards are for learning more and practicing what we learn. And the black crayons are because we always run out!
