Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is in Maryvale, a part of west Phoenix. We are an "A" rated school and we work hard to rise above other schools in our area to meet the needs of our learners by providing supplies to help them reach their fullest potential. My students are special because they have good attendance, earn good grades and work hard to be nice to everyone.

Coronavirus has impacted their ability to come to school prepared because the availability of supplies is limited at times and they are encouraged not to venture out and spread the virus.

These supplies will help students feel prepared at school and worry free to interact with their friends. Students are more likely to learn how to organize their materials and take care of their school supplies if they have the resources and tools to do so. My goal is to help prepare my students for middle school where they will have at least three, different academic teachers/classes.

Your support is greatly appreciated and I will work my hardest to teach the students how to organize their materials, so they are likely to use these skills in the future to have success in whatever their heart yearns to do.
