Our third graders are BUSY learning. If you walk through our hall on any given day, you will see kids engaging in thoughtful conversations, tackling math problems collaboratively, researching, building models, conducting experiments, and creating beautiful works of art. They love to learn by DOING, but listening to their peers and attending to lessons is another important skill that they develop.
Our kids are inquisitive, enthusiastic, and ready to work hard.
To help them be their best, they need seating options that help them to engage and maintain focus.
One thing third graders have in common is they love to move, whether it be on the playground or in the classroom. When it is time to sit down, however, kids prefer different seating options. In my class, some prefer stability balls, but the balls don't work for all kids.
The core engagement stools that I have chosen will give my students another healthy option when it comes to seating.
The stools will allow kids that can't handle the bounciness of the yoga ball to still engage their core and increase their focus and productivity.
When students are comfortable, they can focus. When they focus, they will learn more.
