I teach a class of 22 kindergarten children with a variety of needs. They are full of energy and excitement as they begin their first year in school.
As their teacher, I have noticed how frequently this group of students need to get their wiggles out.
We set aside many opportunities for them to get up and move. However, I think I would be doing my class a disservice by not letting them continue this movement at their seats as well.
My Project
My Kindergarten class this year is filled with little minds that are in need of building their core strength. After getting to know my class for a couple weeks now I can tell how much they need to move, even at their seats!

Our current standard seating in the classroom is not enough for these developing minds. Giving them the option to use these wobble chairs will encourage them to think about how they will learn best and take charge of their learning.
