My Project

One of the best parts of being a teacher, is not just getting to know students, but to get to know their families too. Family engagement is key to student success since a family is a child's first teacher. There is no better way to do this than inviting families in for a school event. Often, our parents phone numbers change, and it can be difficult to reach them by text or phone. Paper communication is sometimes the only way we can get in touch with families to inform them of what is happening at the school.

Flyers are such an important part of our communication with families.

In order to send flyers home to families, we have to have copy paper it. The brighter and more colorful the copy paper, the easier it is to catch a family's attention. I have also requested Green Copy paper to make copies of our "Bark Bucks". We have a "Doghouse" school store where students turn in the green good behavior coupons (AKA-Bark Bucks) and redeem them for toys and candy. We need green copy paper to make more Bark Bucks so teachers can hand them out to kids showing good behavior and promote our CHAMP values.

In a world where school budgets seem to be shrinking and inflation is causing paper to become more expensive, we don't always have paper on hand to make copies. This copy paper will be used to send home flyers informing them about various activities on campus. Opportunities at the school such as Q and U wedding, Tutoring, Spring Break, various Spring Holidays and Kindergarten/5th Grade Graduation. Your help to provide these much-needed materials is appreciated.
