Coping Tools for Growing Minds

Help me give my students tools to practice their emotion regulation skills in a fun way. Games like Kerplunk and Perfection will help them practice coping skills while playing a fun game.

My Students

I am a school psychologist who works with students in both general education and special education. We work in small and individual group settings and work to develop skills related to emotion regulation, social skills, and coping skills for anxiety. The students are amazingly creative, funny, and determined to make gains in their goals.

My Project

The tools requested will allow students from kindergarten through fifth grade to practice coping skills in a fun and interactive way! The best way to generalize skills is to use them in real-life situations. Making the practicing of skills fun and interactive increases the chance of the students using the skills in other places.

It is so important for the kids to learn skills that they can use in all settings and in all areas of their lives.

The games will allow for a fun way to practice the coping skills while the fidgets and calming tools will allow them to practice in a more quiet and intensive moment. Thank you for considering these tools for the amazing students I work with!
