My fourth grade students are creative, passionate, curious learners who love exploring their questions and ideas in class discussions. My students are a loving, caring, and talkative bunch. I have an array of students from different economic and social backgrounds, but they work well together as team. They enjoy talking and each others company. Collaboration is a huge part of a successful classroom.
When my students get to talk, the amount of learning that happens is huge.
I teach them how to talk academically as students learn a vast amount from each other. The students in my classroom come to school in search of a safe and loving environment that these tables would help encourage.
My Project
By using tables, I will be able to build a cooperative work environment within my classroom. Tables will alleviate the mess of desks and the distance that separates students during activities.
Tables will allow me to promote communication, build student interest, and retain classroom interaction.
By donating to my project, my students will be able to boost their academic communication skills while staying actively engaged in their learning. I want my students to be able to embrace a cooperative learning classroom with ease. Tables will allow my students to do this while maintaining the integrity of learning experiences.
