Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from ethnically and socio-economically diverse backgrounds. The student have benefitted from having classroom sets of Chromebooks and teachers trained in 21st century learning strategies to meet the needs of modern learners. Unfortunately, the funding for these initiatives has run dry, and students' needs continue.
My students enjoy learning, often they show it in simple ways, like being completely engaged in partner work and conversations, while at other times they may struggle to show their joy because situations out of their control.
Our students deserve to have materials at their disposal that allow them to reach their potential.
My Project
My students will enjoy teambuilding and group activities using the new storage containers that include erasers which will enable them to learn from their mistakes and ideas and other items.

The supplies will help the students improve their engagement and creativity.
A class set of calculators will ensure all students have access to the new common core curriculum. All students should be able to challenge themselves and solve deeper more rigorous problems, regardless of their basic skill level. The teamwork and cooperative learning will allow all students to be successful. Each group will now have access to post it notes, glue sticks, whiteboard erasers, and pens,
The HDMI and DVI cords will let the classroom doc camera move to the side and allow students to come up and share their work and ideas.
