My sixth grade math and science students are an energetic group of economically disadvantaged children. Most of my scholars are english language learners. My students are eager to learn especially when they are engaged in technology based lessons. Math and science concepts are challenging for my students but they show perseverance despite the lack of resources available to them.
My classroom is a second home for myself and my students.
My scholars and I enjoy learning from one another each and every day!
My Project
Activity tables will facilitate the use of math tools during group work time. Learning games and stations are easily navigated with tables instead of individual student desks. Tables give students more room to have their supplies out and in reach. Activity tables allow for students to move quickly and safely around the classroom.
Performing science experiments at activity tables fosters efficiency and safety!
Scholars can access materials with ease and work cooperatively. Activity tables alleviate clutter in the classroom and promote a responsive learning environment. Tables promote a sense of responsibility among the students to each have a role in keeping their work stations neat.
