Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a classroom full of excited learners! I foster a love of reading, and my class devours all reading material I provide to them. These boys and girls come to school ready to work hard and learn everything they can! The students in my class come from diverse economic backgrounds.
I want my students to love reading and discovering!
My students are always excited when I bring in new books for the class library. I am looking to make a comfy reading corner, so even my reluctant readers can't wait to dive into a new book. Readers make leaders!
My Project
My students love to feel special. Who doesn't? With these comfortable chairs, reading will feel like a cool thing to do! I know that any reluctant reader will be more than happy to read in a bean bag chair! I want all of my kids to love reading as much as I do. These bean bag chairs will be used everyday! My kids will love to sit here and read every day!
In my house I have a favorite chair to read in.
I talk to the kids about where their favorite place to read is and sometimes they don't have a comfortable place to read at home. Our classroom is their second home, they spend so much of their day at school. I love that they feel like our classroom is home. Having these chairs will be their favorite place to read, I just know it.
