My students need these air conditioners in order to concentrate on their learning. Currently the classroom reaches a high temperature and can be uncomfortable which makes it difficult for children to advocate for themselves.

My Students

My students are amazing! They are quick to solve problems and help each other learn. As a group, they are able to play to each other's strengths and support any weaknesses.

Over the last year they have been working hard to advocate for themselves and to figure out what they need to be successful.

My students use different work strategies, seating options, and group settings to make their learning more meaningful. Students have been learning that what they are doing with their physical body is linked directly to their ability to concentrate and learn.

My Project

This project will make a huge difference in my students' ability to learn. With the temperatures outside increasing, and no air conditioning in the classroom, students have a hard time concentrating.

Cooling the air by just a few degrees will allow students to focus and continue to thrive in the learning environment.

Over the last year, students have been encouraged to advocate for themselves and to discover what they need to have in order to be successful in their learning. These air conditioning units will serve to help them continue to realize that their personal comfort is an important part of the learning environment.
