This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They enjoy hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. Most of my students are eager to come to school ready to learn. Others have a difficult time focusing due to the heat. I love that all of my students strive to do their part in creating an environment that fosters learning and class community. They are constantly teaching me new things and are excited to learn.

My Project

Imagine a class environment that’s stuffy, hot and miserable. Can you picture students with sweat dripping down their forehead? No windows for air circulation. Or students coughing because they can’t breathe. Now imagine that same class much cooler. The students are attentive and are eager to learn because they comfortable. A hot classroom creates a stuffy, uncomfortable atmosphere for children to study and learn in. Maintaining a cooler temperature is better for increasing their concentration levels. Without air conditioning, this product will be proactive in cooling the class down to help students focus and engage in the power of learning.
