My students are hardworking and creative kids, who love to learn new skills.
Each day students come to class eager to learn new skills or build upon the skills they learned the previous day.
My Project
I am requesting three air fryers and three sets of measuring cups. I am a newer Family and Consumer Science teacher. I have worked really hard to offer classes that students are interested in including bringing back cooking classes. I would love to add some new "technology" to the class and these air fryers will be a great addition to the class room.
Students love fried snacks and air frying will allow for a healthier option to their everyday snacking.
I can't wait to show students how food can taste good and be healthy! Getting these also allows for me to teach students a wider range of cooking techniques.
I am also asking for measuring cups. We don’t have enough in the kitchen so not all students are getting a chance to practice this important skill. Measuring ingredients is important task in cooking but it also help develop math skills!
